Hello everyone, here's what I have for today-
I mentioned that I wanted to update the logo slightly. Here's what I came up with:
I changed some of the letters so that the bottom looked like a silverware handle. I also added a spoon silhouette to the inside of the letter a. This should help in promoting the TravelWare brand as a certified provider of all your portable silverware needs.
I also updated the case. Thanks to Derrick's suggestion, I went with a sleeker model of case, something that you might see from a very fancy pen:
Not only is this one smaller and more compact, it also looks more nicer and would be perfect for storing the TravelWare fork.
You might notice that the old logo is still branded on the case. Keep in mind that this is only a sketch and the finished version will show the updated logo and will be better integrated on the case, so that it looks like it was molded on. Another thing I like about this case is that it is a lot more silver, almost chrome, compared to the first one.
The last thing I want to show is the magazine ad I'm working on.
I finally settled on a mechanism to connect the tip to the base, and I wanted the magazine ad to show the function. The fork tip will have a connector very similar to a headphone jack. The ad will be playing off of the very famous iPod ads that we've all seen. The copy at the bottom reads, "The TravelWare Portable Fork connects just like your headphones." I plan on placing the updated logo either on the lower left corner, or slightly above the copy.
Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.

I was thinking about the click the would attach the tops to the chop sticks... i was wondering if a screw top would be better, for stability... just a thought!
ReplyDeleteYour doing an awesome job on this man keep it up.
ReplyDeleteI like the new font on the main logo from what it use to be. Are you gonna match the logo on the case?
